Purposeful Growth for the Young Company - Navigating People Pitfalls During Go-Go Growth is the next up in our series of Lunch and Learn events. Dustin Baker, business owner and Stoke member will talk about managing growth, maintaining culture, and hiring the right people for your growing company. This talk can benefit business owners, freelancers, and other professionals.
Dustin Baker has worked in recruiting and personnel consulting since 2004, operating his own firm since 2009. He has helped numerous companies, mostly in banking and finance, plan and execute growth and retention strategies. In this lunch and learn, he will help business owners and professionals think through issues like:
• How to attract, assess, align, and retain the talent they need to grow
• Making growth intentional instead of reactionary
• Aligning your personal calling with your work and with the kind of opportunities you say yes to
In addition, Dustin will be hosting a free happy hour to continue the conversation at Armadillo Ale Works from 4:00 to 6:00 the day of the Lunch and Learn (because he believes some problems are just easier to solve over a beer…or two!).
