Stoke to celebrate five-year anniversary, recent remodel with ribbon-cutting
Denton coworking space Stoke will celebrate being open five years with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house Friday.
The ceremony will showcase 11 new private offices in the recently remodeled Stoke building at 608 E. Hickory St., Suite 128. Mayor Gerard Hudspeth will give opening remarks at the event, which will honor partners, sponsors and members, as well as invite locals new to the space to attend.
AccelerateHER schedules pitch event for first cohort of women-owned startups
The Center for Women Entrepreneurs at Texas Woman’s University and Stoke Coworking launched the AccelerateHER, an incubator program for women-owned startups last fall. The program — the first of its kind in Denton — takes a hands-on approach that involves managers, mentors and partner networks to help early-stage companies develop and test ideas and grow their businesses.

On April 12, Stoke in Denton will be hosting FlintConf, a one-day, single-track conference for young entrepreneurs of all levels and backgrounds.
Stoke is partnering with the Greater Denton Arts Council and Tech Mill to create a conference that aims to bring young entrepreneurs, freelancers, side hustlers, creatives, and students together to learn more about optimizing any blossoming business ideas.
