The Center for Women Entrepreneurs at Texas Woman’s University and Stoke Coworking have chosen eight participants for the fourth cohort of AccelerateHER, a startup incubator program for woman-owned businesses in Denton.
The participants represent a range of industries from creative services to food. AccelerateHER, a program of TWU’s Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership, helps early-stage companies grow through a hands-on approach led by mentors.
The entrepreneurs chosen for the fourth cohort are:

Madison Newman, Found & Forged Design Co.
Jennifer Johnson, Teacher Care Network
Katherine Waddell, Faul Magic
Ashlee Vail, Austyn Wyatt & Co.
Latoya Lawrence, Groovy Chicken and Waffles
“I’m excited to witness the journey ahead with our fourth cohort of AccelerateHER. Seeing local entrepreneurs achieve their goals and grow their businesses is inspiring,” Stoke associate director Juli James said in a news release.
