Stoke Denton is hosting a Headshot Day on Friday, May 18 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This free event will be located in the coworking center’s event space, and is open to entrepreneurs, professionals, and students of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.
A professional photographer will be on site to take headshots of attendees. The evening will also feature an expo, where vendors from TWU Center for Women in Business, Denton Public Library, UNT Career Center and Royal Deca will be teaching about gaining potential leads, expanding your skills, how to stand out on LinkedIn, tips for building a resume and successful interviewing strategies.
“Stoke aims to be the support system for Denton’s startups and future business leaders,” said Heather Gregory, Director of Stoke. “We host events like Headshot Day to give local entrepreneurs access to crucial resources, skills, and opportunities. A headshot is something any working professional could benefit from to better market themselves.”
Complimentary bites and beverages will also be available at the event. Registration for Headshot Day is limited to 150 attendees. Anyone who signs up after the 150 person cap is reached will be put on a wait list.
