Community Coordinator

Part-time

  • 24 hours a week to be worked onsite at Stoke. Work 3 days a week from 8:30-5:30 (with a one hour lunch break) - we can be flexible on which days of the week.

  • Pay is $15/hour.

What You’ll Do:

Hospitality & Front Desk

  • Be the first face people see - greet members, guests, and drop-ins with warmth and enthusiasm

  • Answer phones and reply to voicemails in a timely fashion

  • Respond to online inquiries about membership, tours, conference room rentals, events, etc 

  • Give tours to prospective members, sharing what makes Stoke special - our workspace, community, member amenities, and programs

  • Help Members with general questions, printer troubleshooting, and day-to-day needs

  • Assist with set-up, staffing, and breakdown of events and programs as needed

Space Care

Stoke has professional janitorial services three times a week. Your role is to keep things looking great in between so the space always feels fresh and welcoming.

  • Opening and closing duties which include running and emptying the dishwasher, tidying all common areas.

  • Quick reset of conference rooms between reservations when needed (remove trash if needed, wipe down table, etc)

  • Order + stock office supplies, paper goods, cleaning supplies, etc

  • Mail and package responsibilities

Community + Team

  • Engage with members on Stoke’s slack channel and in person

  • Post our events and programs to internal and external community calendars

  • Support setup, staffing, and breakdown of events and programs as occasional secondary host

  • Participate in weekly team meetings

  • Support Stoke staff with marketing, events, and programs as needed

Who You Are:

  • You have customer service experience and genuinely enjoy working with all kinds of people

  • You have a passion for entrepreneurship and small businesses

  • You are dependable, self-motivated, and take pride in doing things right

  • You communicate well; in person, on the phone, and in writing

  • You can juggle multiple things without dropping the ball

  • You’re comfortable with basic office software and social media

  • You have a flexible, can-do attitude about whatever the day may bring
