The 2024 lineup of speakers has been announced and will showcase veteran entrepreneurs like Amber Briggle, the founder and owner of Soma Massage Therapy who recently announced that she is working to franchise her business. William Scazzero and Lucas Holl from Hayes, Berry, White & Vanzant will give a talk about some of the essential legal aspects of business creatives and entrepreneurs need to consider. Michelle Williams, Vice President of Texas Strategy at Mass Challenge and former Executive Director of the Dallas Entrepreneur Network, will speak to common pitfalls that entrepreneurs experience in hopes to equip people with the knowledge to avoid them. This year, Stoke added First Strike to the FlintConf lineup which will be the first ever kickoff event for the creative startup conference. This free event is designed to bring together those who may not be able to attend the full conference, as well as creative entrepreneurs looking to connect and converse with others over the state of the creative economy in Denton. First Strike will include a panel discussion with three local creative entrepreneurs and a roundtable conversation among attendees. First Strike will be on May 7th from 6-8 pm at Denton County Brewing Company.
